SEC Championships
Nashville, TN- This was a great meet as usual. If you don't know
this meet is often more competitive than the NCAA regional
championships and sometimes even the NCAAs in some events. The weather
was decent throughout.
There was some intermittent rain but
it didn't seem to affect any of the results. As usual, the sprint
performances were the most notable. Xavier Carter won the 200m from
lane 8 beating an amazing field in a scorching 20.16. The men’s relays
were also great, with Florida edging LSU in both the long and short
relays. Kerron Clement was the performer of the meet, scoring in the
110H, winning the 400H, and anchoring UF’s winning long and short
relays.
