What does this mean?

Yesterday I
was searching for some information for a project when I came across
this on a university’s strength and conditioning site:



Philosophy:

Linear/Undulating Periodization

Olympic-style Weightlifting


What
exactly does this mean? Is this philosophy? This remands me of the
coach who told me his philosophy was to train the “Big Three.” I always
thought a philosophy was an underlying belief.
