A recent news release quoted Usain Bolt's coach, Glen Mills, as saying that the otherworldly sprint god is going to focus on improving his start for the 2009 season. Here's the exact quote from the article:

We have identified three major things with his starting that we feel we can correct this coming season. I feel that within the next two seasons he is going to become one of the fastest starters you've ever seen at 6ft 5in. We can certainly guarantee that nobody is going to leave him in the blocks anymore.

My first thoughts after reading this were:

• How much faster can the guy go?
• Who exactly left him in the blocks other than Asafa Powell (probably the fastest 40m sprinter ever)?
• And what exactly are the three things that Mills feels Usain needs to fix?

The last question is the one I want to tackle here as I think it will make some for some good forum discussion. What are the three things Bolt needs to fix? I couldn't find a worthwhile video so this is largely off of recollection but I'd like to see his feet a little lower on the block pedals, a movement rather than hearing based reaction to the gun (I assume based on his slower reaction times that he's listening for the gun), and slightly lower departure angles coming out of the blocks.
