Coach Brooks on Creativity in Coaching
Since Boston looks like The Day After Tomorrow, I have been trying read real books and giving video and online reading a break. Still, one blog that I keep an eye on is Brook's Spikes and Flats blog that inspires me. BALLETIC was brought up as an important direction to ensure creativity doesn't die in coaching. Cliche as it may be, rhythm is a strong underlying current of hurdles and it was nice to see his homage to Wilbur Ross. While a picture may be worth a thousand words, a good beat may make words necessary at times. When I asked Coach Ross about mechanics he started attacking me with a imaginary rapier to understand the aggressive nature of the event, an image that really conveys more than functional anatomy and textbook physiology.
