I have just finished remastering some DVDs that my company produces and sells and I have a limited number of DVDs that I would consider ‘test runs’ and will be selling at a discount.

These DVDs have some very minor imperfection but all are still in very high quality and most importantly work. To give you an example of the types of ‘imperfection’ on these discs are the following:

*having a menu screen that works but visually looks ugly
*having an extra 20 seconds of video at the beginning of the video
*having video that was not cropped perfectly so there is a small strip of blank black screen at the bottom and / or top of the screen
*having video that was not deinterlaced which means that if their is fast movement on the screen it may get blurry for a second

The discs are from a clinic my company put on 2 years for baseball. HOWEVER, each disc has 2 presentations of 40+ minutes (at least 90 minutes of material) on it and even if you’re not a baseball player or coach there’s quite a bit of relevant info on training and conditioning.

Here’s the description of the 2 Discs:

Disc 2

The second DVD in this series features Perry Husband of Filthy Training Systems and Mike Young of Human Performance Consulting. This DVD is all about speed…understanding concepts of “Effective Velocity” and sprinting speed development.

Filthy: Science of Effective Velocity by Perry Husband-Filthy Training Systems

Former College World Series Div. 2 MVP and Minnesota Twins draftee presents his innovative approach to pitching and hitting: “Filthy: The Science of Effective Velocity.”

Developing 6.2 60 yd/3.7 Home-2-First by Mike Young-Human Performance Consulting

Mike details the speed development methods that he has become widely recognized for. In this DVD Mike examines the physical and technical components of speed and provides easily applied coaching techniques to improve an athlete’s speed.

Disc 3

The third DVD in this series features almost 2 hours of Ron Wolforth of the Texas Baseball Ranch and Mike Young of Human Performance Consulting. The presenters bring a wealth of training knowledge and experience and provide blockbuster presentations that will help to improve your game.

America Losing the Pitching Battle by Ron Wolforth-Texas Baseball Ranch

World reknowned pitching expert Ron Wolforth delivers a spirited talk on why the American pitchers are failing to develop like their foreign counterparts. Ron has assisted in the development of 27 drafted players and his insights are both insprirational and informative.

Periodized Training for Baseball Players by Mike Young-Human Performance Consulting

An expert in planning training for speed-power athletes, Mike details his plan for developing a systematic speed and power development training program for baseball players. Mike covers topics such as strength training guidelines, overload, compatible and complimentary training methods, and off-season and in-season training plans.

I have a limited number of these DVDs and will be selling them for $20 each or $35 if you buy both. If you’re interested in purchasing them PM me.

New tagging features have been added to the site. Tags have been added to most blog entries on the site. This permits an improved, more functional tag cloud as well as a display showing the tags and a link to other items with those tags on an articles detail page, and a ‘related entries’ section under the entry. Hopefully this will help to resurface some of the old blog material since there’s tons of valuable info in the archives. Tagging of items will continue until complete.
