Hey Mike,
Is there a way to condense a thread into a print version for easy printing?
There is a wealth of info here and there are some golden threads that I wouldn’t
printing out for reference when I don’t have the internet around, etc…

Ok i just registered and posted my first reply.

when i finished posting i wanted to get back to the general forum which was the Hurdle Forum.

Maybe im just blind but i didnt see a link to get back to it. Instead i had to click on the forums tab at the top of the page, and then navigate back to the original forum where i commented, which was the Hurdles section.

is there a link, so i dont have to take the extra step in between?

i know i might sound lazy but im used to being able to return to the original section.

if this is possible please point it out to me.

thanks.

Hi, I’m a first time coach, coaching a high school track team. I need some help. I started a fall running club and have about 12 boys out right now. 6 sprinters and 6 distance runners.

I ran track in high school and college and attended the USA level 1 coaching clinic. I need some help coming up with workouts. What do you base your workouts off of? Also, any good books I should look at buying that could help me?

Thanks.

I’m very new to this website and have spent too much time already. There is so much information available.
The question I have is regarding older forum “threads”, is there any protocol as far as (a) responding a long time after the “latest” post, (b) some sort of follow-up on some of the forum topics/questions.
I do not know a lot of the history of this site in general but about a year ago, say early summer of 2007, there were quite a few interesting questions started, responses for a while and then nothing. Could some of those who replied originally revisit the threads? I know it would be a ton of work but in some examples there would now be nearly a full year of follow-up that would add greatly to information especially regarding programs put in place that year ago. Particularly those who asked for specific training plans, especially 400m, and had members respond with ideas. Did those replies help or hinder your athletes?

Hey Mike, just found this site and couldn’t be more thrilled. After sifting through so many unorganized, tiny collections of track coaching knowledge on other sites, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Great work!

My problem comes with navigating through the articles section. I almost always don’t have page numbers at the bottom of the page - every once in a while they will load, but otherwise I’m stuck looking at the first 10 or so articles that pop up for any given subject. Thanks
