Possible Main Page Change—PLEASE VOTE

Which do you like better the current main page or THIS TEST PAGE.

This was implemented based on some common feedback on the recent site redesign. I’m currently thinking that I’ll either:

1). Keep the main page as it currently is and use the new page as a completely separate “LATEST” page (minus the left side bar and the rotating image header) that will be linked to in the main menu, OR

2). Use the new test page as the main page and do away with the current main page format. The drawbacks of this option is that you will only see an unformatted shortened blog summary with no pictures and you can’t go directly to discussing the blog entry in the forum.

If you have any suggestions for alternative options I’d appreciate hearing them.

Who will stand the test of Time?

I’ve heard of many athletes (mainly today by our gracious dwight stone),
peaking too early in olympic seasons and then failing to medal.

So my question is,
who will stand the test of time?

My money is on Asafa powell,
if he can get his ass in gear. Panzy doesn’t wanna race just yet
;D

but what do you think?

After usain bolt’s 1.7 wind 9.72 world record saturday evening,
who’s to tell who will win the 100m final?

Will usain choke in his 2nd olympic appearance?
will justin gatlin even make an affect?
will other sub 10 second sprinters prove to be worthy and upset the worlds top athletes?

you decide.

Is the indoor 200m a valid event?

Meets are increasingly dropping the indoor 200m from their schedule because of the unfairness of lane assignments on performance. The IAAF and USATF have dropped it from their program. What are your thoughts?

I am just curious when do you guys perform your heavy squat day, because I was speaking to a Coach today and he said during the fall he always has his guys squat heavy on Friday so they can have good running workouts through the week, make sense to me.

Orginally posted by Quickazhell:

You have 2 athletes with the same talent/ability…they are training for the 60.

One Athlete only lifts. The other athlete only does 60 meter sprints. Lets say this goes on for a three month period.

Who wins?
