Elitetrack: Sport Training & Conditioning

Any ideas on topics for a team building skit?  It is for the HOBY leadership summit, I need some type of skit topics for sophomores in HS to do that focus on team work.

Any ice breaker type activity is good and those with physical contact are fun and get a good response. One I did here in Portugal was something I never had seen in the states and was fun (done with hot chicks who can’t speak english and on a beach, umm fun). You seperate into groups with 4 people (or however many you want) and then you say how many feet and hands may be touching the ground between the group. Pretty simple problem solving, has some creativity, fun, generally safe (although I did the 2 feet on the ground with 3 people on my back), and gets people going. Lots of other things—do a search on icebreakers as many of them are decent team building activities (if they are any good).

davan your portugese?

Nah not at all (naturally a blonde actually). I am living here as part of foreign exchange with the American Field Service (AFS) program. It’s pretty cool. I live with a Portuguese family, go to a Portuguese highschool, and all of that cool stuff.

tu fala portuguese? um pouco ou um muito?
