Ankle Pain

I hurt my ankle yesterday whil TJing. It hurts on the malleolus when I stand on my heel, and a little when I rotate the ankle outward, but feels ok when on the balls of my feet, and is not painful when pressed. Is this just soreness, or could it be more?

Could be a trigger point in the peroneus longus and/or brevis.  The pain usually occurs around the edges of the lateral malleous.  I believe that trigger points in this area are also responsible for increasing the liklihood of rolling an ankle.

Massage.  Roll it with a ball/rolling pin.
