Anyone have any reviews on Boo's book?  Is it any different from his videos?

It is a good book.  Similar to his videos on what he is preaching.  It does show an example microcylce which I did learn from.  Hope this helps.

It's a very good book. I would recommend the series.

Glad I found this. Very good book. A lot of the info is on this site, especially the forum, however in the book it is in one format.

Buy it and you get the download immediately.

Where can be bought?

It gives well thought out reasoning on programming/periodization through GenPrep, SpePre, Comp, very Pfaff-like. Also for those having trouble with prescribing like training tasks for high intensity days in each period he goes through his method and reasoning. It gives example microcycles for each period.

One thing that really rings true is, not a direct quote, but the gist - "peaking" is dependent upon the quality and breadth of the entire preparatory period(s) preceding the important comp as opposed to the cute tinkering done 10-14 days before the comp.
