Could someone explain the difference between a long jump shoe and a triple jump shoe. They have a shoe on eastbay and they call it a triple jump/pole vault shoe. Im wondering for a decathlete would that shoe be okay for pole vault and long jump or are they different.

pole vault,long jump and triple jump shoes are all the same.is just so nike or adidas can make money.the differnce though in long and triple shoes is triple jumps shoes have more pading in the heel,long jumps shoes dont have that.but the upper and plates are all the same.
