I am the dude in lane 3, Green/white top and black tights.

ran a 7.03 here. I never feel like I have a drive phase, I just cannot push. From my own research, it seems like i cannot push through my metatarsals because my calves are so tight so I am always on my toes, especially out of the blocks. Tight calves and Anterior pelvic tilt (Lordosis)seem to be the issue with not being able to push.

Any thoughts?

How does the rest of my 60 look?

You look rolled over/hunched with your upper back.  Never really get flat across your shoulder blades with your head up, and it looks like your doing more punching forward with your arms instead of your hands traveling down and back.

@Naprobst I agree, my back is hunched and my shoulders are rounded which sometimes makes it hard for me to get my knees up

Hard to tell form angle but looks like at set position your weight is a little too far forward on your shoulders instead of evenly distributed…could be wrong though.  Could have lower heel recovery at start.  Looks like chin is tucked a little bit for first few steps, so maybe think about neutral head position and opening up chest some as you progress.  Decent bit of backside running mechanics when you get tall which you guys already mentioned possible cause of that.  7.03 is solid for a 60 though and your form is by no means bad.  Nice work dude.

Thanks Eric, I believe your analysis is spot on. 7.03 is okay, but Im not sure if it will get me into a school I would like to run for.
