michael johnson questions

ive been reading around the board things like "michael johnson is unlike any sprinter ever" and "hes a freak" and stuff like that.  could someone tell me what thats all about?

He has the world record in both the 200m and 400m dashes in absolutely blazing times…..plus his methods of training were fairly "unorthodox" compared to most programs. 

His pr's:
100m - 10.09
200m - 19.32 WR
400m - 43.13 WR

All while training like a 400m/800m runner really.

It's also been theorized that he coasted his 400 WR so that he could set that incredible 200 record and was planning on smashing the 400 record ten days later but got injured.  This is theorized because the usual conversion for runners who train 400 is double 200 + 3.5 and that would =  42.14!

What's really scary is that, that conversion is pretty accurate.  Actually it's pretty dead on.
