I took alittle longer recovery because it was cool out 50’s.
Update: Still looking for a sprinting coach for our school. Today I met two coaches Philipe and Walter. They gave me some advice on my running form. When you are sprinting you should be able to see your hands in your peripheral vision. Also keep your upper body relaxed. Also anyone have opinions on doing the 400IH? I’ve really only done the 110HH before.
The 400IH is a very technical event. It requires endurance, speed, and perfect race distriibution. If you have never ran anything that long it will absolutly kill you. It is more painful than a 600m. However, it’s still my favorite race. Most people hate it. so… you kindof have to try it and find out if you like it or not.
Train hard, win easy… you know thats a distance running book right.
Well I would start training now for outdoor for the 400IH. Then I would continue through to sophmore year and see what times I could throw down. Besides I am up for a challenge. I have ran the 300IH in high school, but never trained for them.
The train hard, win easy, didn’t know where it came from, I took it from one of my coaches. I think it is a good saying and gives me motivation.

I felt a little tired/ weak on the weights, the running went well but it was by myself. At the end I did a run over of 2 hurdles 110 space college high. I didn’t have blocks so steps to the first one were off and both I knocked over with my lead leg heel. So I am going ot start do lead leg drills so I can get my leg up that high.

Running- The track was closed so I had to run on the street.
Warm up drills ~ 30 minutes
6x [20 seconds explosive jumps, 40 seconds rest,6x ( 20 seconds drills, 10 seconds rest)2 minute run/jog, 1 minute rest]
static stretch
This was tough because I was only doing a 1 min run, 2 min rest before. Also it was cool out, maybe 50. I don’t kow how far I ran in the 2 min since it was on the street but it wasn’t that far.
Today it was cold 40’s. I was supposed to run 10X200 with decreasing rest but I decided to do the same thing as last Monday. It was tough still, but they definately felt easier.
