if u know that ur power leg is your left, but the steps are wrong to the first hurdle, but when getting out of the blocks, u put ur right foot in front, and the steps are right to the first hurdle, then should u use your right or left?
and my lead leg is my right.

Use the leg that works best until you haev enough power to switch.

At this point, you should use whatever block settings allow you to get to the first hurdle correctly.  Once you develop better starting technique and more strength, you may be able to switch back

I’ve found people quickly adapt to switching legs. In fact, quite a few multi-eventers use different starting legs depending on the event they’re competing in. Don’t get caught up in the correct number of steps to the first hurdle initially. In my opinion, it’s more important that you accelerate correctly, attackthe first hurdle, and are in a good posture for takeoff. I don’t think it would be too hard to switch if necessary.
