im supposed to officially start monday, but i couldnt hold back any longer. here goes the 05/06. my plan is train and compete boatloads, but smartly. my first meet will be in january and ill try to get 3-6 indoor meets in. then ill take a month away from competition and resume in april. plans may change but thats what im thinking right now. its highly unlikely my toe will be good for running on monday, but ill be lifting and doing gs to keep my plan on track. alright here goes.
june 10, 2005
front squat: 6@45, 6@55, 6@70, 6@85, 4@100, 2@110, 1@125, 6@140 PR
military press: 6@45, 3s6r@65
bent over row: 15@65, 15@70, 15@75
workout felt good. the front squat was easy as hell, but i only planned to do 140 so ill do more another time. ill pick up again on monday.
june 13, 2005
10, 20, 30, 40 yds from belly
bent over row (palms away): 6@45, 6@55, 6@70, 6@85, 4@100, 2@110, 1@125, 6@140 PR
front squat: 6@45, 6@55, 6@70, 4@85, 2@90, 1@105, 3s4r@115
squat: 4@160
bench: 6@45, 6@55, 6@70, 6@85
gms: 3s6r@85
the bent over rows were sloppy, but ill fix that a bit. i was planning to do more normal squats, but i was a little worn out in the legs. my right shoulder started hurting on the bench so i stopped, and the GMs were good.
i actually ran pretty fast today, and it didnt bother my toe that much. i raced my athlete once and he beat me (after cheating, he didnt start on his belly:lol: )
hurdle drills dont really work with a broken toe, hopefully my toe will be healed by the time i do hurdles again. my athlete (doug from now on) beat me in the 100 yard dash, he got ahead in the beginning and i never caught up. hes trying to keep his knees higher which i think is helping.
june 20, 2005
10xshort hills: 3.43? was the best time i believe and i ran consistant 3.5s and 3.6s
front squat: worked up to 145x6 PR
dips: 10, 10@5, 10@10, 10@11, 10@12 (cups of sand in my backpack)
today was ok. in the fall i ran the same hill in 3.93 as a best. im not sure why these were so much faster, but i wont complain. and doug i whooped your ass in the pillow fight.
break both my legs, an arm and my neck and ill STILL beat you.

some if these were too fast or slow, i have no idea of pacing. we ran the last one all out and i got 12.06. i guess it isnt too bad running barefoot after tempo. i was picking up my knes and it felt interesting.
today was good, i ate probably the healthiest dinner in my career as a human. i ate some hash browns cooked in vegatable oil, a blueberry shake, a bunch of green beans, and a hardboiled egg.

not actually training today, but thought id post what im eating. so far ive had breakfast. i had:
hash browns mixed with an egg cooked in vegatable oil
a blueberry shake that has blueberries, milk, and whey protein
some donut thing
then i had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich changed my mind about training at did
bench: 6@45, 6@50, 6@60, 4@70, 4s4r@80
bent over row: 4s4r@80
i couldnt help it… the temptation got to me. seeing that left over burrito in the fridge… with no one else to claim it… i just couldnt resist…
and later…
a hardboiled egg, another peanut butter and jelly snadwich, and 3 bowls of cereal.
