im in 3rd place in the red.  turn your volume down, or youll be unpleasantly surprised by my moms voice.  the clip is short, it was taken with a digital camera.  my time was a hurricane aided 15.49, my teammate (in second) got 15.44 and the winner got 14.82.  i cant seem to get the attachment to work so here is a yousendit link:

It’s difficult to see much on the clip, but it looks like you pitch into the hurdle pretty well.  Be conscious of keeping the shoulders forward as you come off the hurdle, as well.  Looks like you have a tendency to lean while you’re over the hurdle, but then raise your shoulders abruptly while the lead leg makes ground contact and the trail leg comes through.  This causes your trail leg to cast open on the first step, and it becomes a blocking or braking step.

You would also do well to bring the trail leg back to the midline, that is bring it square so that your knee is pointing forward, down the track, before you put it down.  Ideally, when your lead leg comes in contact with the ground, your trail leg should be back to the midline.  Yours hasn’t completed the motion yet, so you’re a bit off balance on landing.

In short, keep your shoulders forward and bring your trail leg to the midline.

Both of you should attempt to stay more square as you hurdle.  You both exhibit some excessive shoulder rotation coming off of the hurdle, due in large part to an incorrect lead arm pattern.  After the lead hand comes up as you lean through the hurdle, the reverse action should be predominantly down, not out.  The hand should cut below the knee of the trail leg, not above it.  If you watch the clip, you’ll see that both of you have a very high elbow on your lead arms (left arm for you, right for him) as it balances the trail leg, and that your shoulders get severely twisted.

Keep the shoulders forward coming off the hurdle, and drive the lead hand down, not out.
