In doing workouts modeled after Coe's, I have to say that they're excellent for developing pace awareness.  Nothing in the workouts is difficult on its own, but if you go too fast on a rep, you definitely feel it later on.  I think thats one of the biggest benefits of doing workouts like that, because that pace awareness can really allow an athlete to run their race in the 800, which gives them a bit of a tactical edge I feel.

The 100 to 200 would give me problems around 160-170, and the 200-300 one would give me problems at 260m.  I can probably only do the 300time if I did only the 300m part of the workout, even then it would be close.  Both great workouts though.
