today i will kick off the start of my training for the fall (walking-on to southeastern louisiana university's team). for a while now i have gone to the track a few days a week and just jumped over and over again.  today i start my weightlifting program which is basically squats, lunges, calf raises, bench, and thats pretty much it so far. i will hit the track after im done lifting to do some standing tj's, bounding, and other drills and run a little bit.  i had a meet like a week ago and jumped a 42'5 jus out of the blue with no kind of training since regionals. my pr from this past season was 45'1 and im trying to get up to at least 48.

wish me luck

ok so i jus got bac from the track and gym. to my surprise there was an aau track team out there practicing and they interrupted my warm up lap to ask me if i wanted to run with them, so i said hey y not. b4 i knew it, they had me do a ladder consisting of 600-500-400-300-200-100-200. so i didnt get to do any jumping stuff jus running. then, i went to the gym. i found out that lolo jones is goin to train me for a little bit. will all of this running help me out a lot or am i jus wasting my time. and how should i organize this…weights one day, plyos the next? or how

do most of your high stressful things (sprinting/plyos/weights) on the same day if possible. u get the most bang for your CNS buck.
