ok the only tracks by my house are the cynder type ones with the little orange type rocks. the problem is, one of them has a concrete runway with a big hole where the board has to go, and the other is a little better but is really hard so my left heel always hurts after training, and it also has the board elevated like an inch and a half off the run-way(twisted my ankle a lil while ago on it). would it b alright to jus use the grass and measure to where i still use the pit but i use the grass as a run way?

Well, i am not sure what you mean, but as long at the grass in relatively flat and not bumpy everywhere there wouldn't be a problem. I would not expect to get good jump distances though, scince you are not getting the rebound off the track that you would usually get (obviously, scince it is rubber). You would definetely need to get a good runway to practice your jump like you would in competition, as grass runways would usually not be used. Lol

I probably wouldn't recommend doing runway work on grass. I'd suggest doing the runway work on the cinder track off the runway.
