Yeah, he basically told me that if I am serious about getting better this summer and next season and fixing the problems I have now, that I need to cut out the next 2 meets. He said that unless I am going to be setting PRs, it's not worth the possible injury and crap training. I'm supposed to take the next 2 weeks off of running and lower body weights or anything intense—just pool work and upper body weights—and then get back in touch to get a plan going. I meet with my coach tomorrow to discuss the rest of this season.

I agree with the assessment but I'm curious to know how your coach responds to it.
