more college coaches attend state meets.  They also lend credence to FAT times.  Videos of races are good to.  They typically don't care what you did in a dual-tri-quad scenario, but most of all they would like to know you want to come to their school.

Something else to keep in mind…  more often than not, the event you run in HS may not be the one you are best suited for at the college level.  And while you may not want to run the longer sprints, it is not a bad idea to get some experience in those if you are planning on going to college to run track.  You will likely be asked to run longer sprints, even a 4x4.  Having experience and range across all sprinting events makes you more marketable and more attractive to colleges, beacuse they can use you in more than one event on the track.

Just some food for thought.

State meets and big invites (Golden West, Golden South, USA Jrs., etc.) are all scouting hotspots for bluechip talent.

As said previously hand times are really frowned upon unless their is supporting auto times, relay splits are worthless unless they were timed by the coach themselves, and most coaches don't care to hear how poor your highschool training was, that you've got a lot of potential, or how much faster you think you can run.
