Elitetrack: Sport Training & Conditioning

Hi Everyone,

I just stumbled across this site while looking up stuff about Houston McTear (he was a promising sprinter in the 70's in case someone disn't know). I used to be good friends with Houston for a few years but I moved away from Sweden (where he lives) a few years ago so I haven't seen him since I was home for a visit in 2003. I was hoping to find a way to contact him but I can't find anything, instead I came across this site. I realize that it's really a long-shot to ask on an internet message board but some people here does seem to be familiar with Houston so I thought that maybe someone knows of a way to contact him, or someone associated with him, in Sweden or elsewhere. If anyone knows anything I'd appreciate if he/she can share it with me.

I can't help you but you might want to try to:
*Track down a journalist that has written about him in the last 10 years. I know I've seen 1 or two articles about him.
*Find out who his old coach was and see if he has any info.
*Get in contact with Gary Hill of Track and Field News. He seems to be pretty well-informed about former track greats.
