Help with stuttering

I just added LJ and TJ to my events. I can get over 17' in LJ, but lots of times I stutter and will only get like 16'. I don't notice it, but everyone else says I get choppy steps. I've only gone through TJ about 3 run throughs, so anything that helps with LJ will probably help my TJ approach as well. I'm pretty good at hitting the board, it's just the speed at which I hit it.

Any advice? Should I post a video of the meet tommorrow?

I would suggest maybe working your approach rythm a bit without being on the runway with a board and just couning your steps in your head.  That way, you’re not worried about where you’re ending up and you can get a feel for fluidity of your run and what it’s suppose to be.  Then move it on to the runway later.  You may have to move your starting mark back a little
