Weights seem to play a significant role in the Hart/Baylor 400m program. It's been touched on in a couple of articles (i.e. Micheal Johnson's) but nothing too specific. Can anyone shed any light?
I'm curious because I've been doing 3 times a week weights sessions with my coach, for about half a year almost now, that really emphasizes Olympic type lifts (bench, squats, cleans) and I've had a lot of hamstring trouble since taking it up. If I cut out the Olympic, what do I put in (specific exercises, reps etc.)?
