Has anyone else had this problem?

When I go to the forum on elitetrack.com through the main page, I see the latest version of the website. Yet, when I type in elitetrack.com/forum, I encounter a different version which doesn't allow me access to the main "home" page. Is this a glitch?

I'm assuming its an old version that wasn't taken out of the site map.  Just click forum from the home page, works for me.  Besides the site is going to be updated very soon.

It's not a mistake or glitch. You're just viewing something that isn't supposed to be viewed. The forum is a totally separate software code 'wrapped' in another set of content management software. The elitetrack.com/forum actually isn't supposed to be viewed as standalone and there are no live links to it. I have no problem with you viewing the forum like that but that is not how the site is set up to be viewed (that's why there are no links to elitetrack.com/forum at the present time). It is intended to be viewed the way winnesota mentioned. Once the site upgrade is made, the forum will indeed be located at that address and all the URLs will be search engine friendly instead of the current non-sensical garbage.

That is interesting that I was able to access it that way, because you do a good job of sending users to the "lost world" when they have entered into unknown elitetrack territory.

Well I don't mind if people want to get to it that way. In fact, when I'm viewing on my smartphone I'll typically go that route because the load times are much faster when data access is slow.

RE: the 404 message (lost world)...the new soon to be released site should have a better variation.

Just in case people haven't seen the special error pages I created (these actually date back to the second version of ET) here they are:

Unauthorized page request: http://www.elitetrack.com/401.shtml
Forbidden page: http://elitetrack.com/403.shtml
Bad request / broken link / missing page: http://elitetrack.com/404.shtml
Forbidden page: http://elitetrack.com/500.shtml

The Lost World was always my favorite, but I might be inclined to say the ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH is my new favorite…

I am a fan of the lego policeman myself . . . but the ARRRRRGGGGHHHH picture made me cringe and laugh at the same time.

Lego man was always my fave.

Unfortunately, the current php based setup for the site makes the old error pages almost obsolete and the lego and ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH ones are rarely seen anymore.
