It's more likely to be a multi, discus, or javelin thrower with characteristics to beat the SLJ of a sprinter or jumper.   They probably won't beat the sprinter or jumper in a regular long jump because of the velocity attained by the sprinter/jumper.

whos the WR holder…WAlter jumped 3.74m isnt that it? must be close…

I've seen two 20m shot putters jump around 3.00m and many many many jumpers who arent even that good, jump over 3.00m. So im taking the jumpers anyday…

Ever seen a really elite 6'5-6" discus thrower SLJ?  They can get it done!  I personally watched Simon Williams jumps 3.40m+ about 100 times.
