Is there an optimal level of fish oil (say in terms of grams of EPA/DHA) that I should be aiming for?

My concern is if it possible to go too far the other way and consume too much fish oil?

I can't find much info on the 'too much fish oil' scenario.

I've never heard of someone taking too much fish oil however I'd imagine the recommended dosage for the brand / type that you're taking should be followed.

Carl do you know any more about this?

Everything I read talks about megadosing fish oils in excess of 20 grams per day which I can't understand. I was taking 4.5 grams up until last month after reading a ton of shit and doubled my dose. I have even heard Poliquin talk about excess of 40 grams!! Do I notice any added benefit? Not so sure although what I have noticed is less muscle soreness. This could be due to my training or other supplementation which includes Cissus and MSM.
I also think my skin looks "better".

I heard similar intakes but decided to keep taking low amounts.
