Thanks Man. I blindly (lane 6)coasted the back stretch and got eaten up by lane 5 as soon as we got to the middle of the stretch. Next time should be better. Where are you this weekend?

A much needed off-week for my collegians. A mini oasis at the middle / end of the indoor track season. Next weekend we have our conference championships at Bucknell. I have two post-collegiates in action this weekend and another 2 next weekend at USATF champs.

I hopped in a 55 and ran 6.67 and got my mp3 player stolen within a 30second window because my athlete/block holder didn’t pick it up when he left. Got pissed and also got suckered into a 4x2 with the facility record holder and some kid who said he runs 22 but actually runs 25.  Later ran 6.71 in finals w/ fatigue.

Lewis almost certainly has his hands on a 3rd consecutive gold medal…Powell good sprinting speed….oh that is huge!

7.56 60m for post grad female sprinter (pr); 13.25m TJ for post grad female (pr); 7.33m LJ for post grad male (seasonal best with a measured foul over 7.80m). Good weekend overall.

That must have been that huge meet I think in Boston?  Damn, I saw some guy went like 8m in LJ and there were some other BA times…

Nope Iowa State Classic and Manhattan College Last Chance. The female sprinter is shutting it down for the indoor season so we can regroup for outdoor. I really only just started working with her so I think some big improvements are in store. My other post-grad sprinter (this one a guy…6.10/6.64/21.10) has also shut it down for indoor and we are likewise focusing on putting together a great outdoor campaign.

Just got back from an insane day at UW-Stevens Point. Our 4x200 was flying and I hit massive PR’s in both my events and snagged a school record in the 200.
4x200- 1:30.51
55- 6.38
200- 22.07

This was on a flat track, so I can’t wait for outdoor season when I can let a 200 fly.
