Woe good runs man! You should be looking at a 10.50 and 21.40 outdoors.

Thanks man. The 200 felt fast but not that fast. I’m just glad I seem to be coming around for conference next week, especially cause some people are dropping some good times right now.

UT- The meet was really fast. The 4x4’s top three teams were 3:18, 3:19 and 3:20. Second place in the 55 was a 6.44. The 200 was pretty slow for this time of year though. The track has some generous curves for an indoor track, but the complex was TINY. There were way too many teams there and not enough room.

I’m looking forward to next week where there are two other people at 22.5 and under for the 200, and one other guy is a 48 second 1/4 guy who will probably be running the 2 as well.

my bro wanted to go to that meet but said the coach was an ass and didnt allow unattach runners which was not true.

Thats ridiculous. I didn’t see any unattached runners there but I think it was more because PTtiming didn’t run the meet and I have no idea where else you’d do the entry for it.

i check the results and there were several unattach runners one of them ran a 7.0+ 55m. then he rented a car to drive to madison to race against danny but the car broke down.

I would just like to say this.

If you are hosting a collegiate conference championship and you post on the meet info that you only allow 1/8in spikes, you can go screw yourself.

This wouldn’t fly in WIAC, or any other respectable D3 conference.

I’m a little irritated right now. It feels like I’m in damn high school again.

Just ignore it and wear 1/4s.  Seriously.  You’ll be more irritated when you switch to 1/8 and find out everyone else is still using 1/4s.

Lewis almost certainly has his hands on a 3rd consecutive gold medal…Powell good sprinting speed….oh that is huge!

I think they did that the last time MWC’s were at IC in 2005 and I definitely don’t remember anyone checking.

I wasn’t planning on running in 1/8s, it is just annoying. I am bringing the crown/risers for my spikes just in case they check because they add enough height that a 1/4 turns into an 1/8.

Just got back from conference and I’m to tired for a in depth run down, but here is the gist.

55m- 6.39 = Fieldhouse and Conf record.
200- 21.97= fieldhouse and school record.
4x200- 1:30.41
4x400- 3:23.43 - Our #2 400 guy hurt his back and sat out, so this isn’t half bad throwing in a guy who before this week hadn’t gone under 54 and he busted out a 52.

Yeah man, but it was worth it. We finished 3rd as a team with a lot less people than most of the other teams. It’s the highest place we’ve finished in around 6 years.
