Arguably the greatest coach in the history of collegiate track or any sport retires at the end of this year. While this is a momentous occasion, a lesser known coach from my prior coaching job, is going to retire at the end of this season as well. Great blog entry. Great coaches have the opportunity to be among the most influential people in an athlete’s lives. I’ve never met Coach Haines but it’s obvious that he’s a great one.
