What kind of music do you listen to when on long trips to track meets???? Name the title or the artist so I can download the songs. I run high school in the panhandle of Texas so I have long rides. I getting tired of the mainstream stuff.

Depends.  Do you look to relax on a trip or get pumped up?

I usually on long trips want to get calmed down but at the meet I want to get pumped so I guess a combination of both.

For relaxation I find most rap music to work best there.  They seem to have a more "chilled" attitude.

Ex:  Almost all West Coast rappers (Xzibit, Dre, DJ Quik, etc.), Petey Pablo (his album is more calmer than his radio hits), Outkast, most R&B.

To get pumped up - Korn, Adema, Disturbed, Sevendust, Eminem/D12 (all of Shady Records) never fails.

400-

Man take your pick :tumble:  ...I'm diggin the black album but I won't discriminate when it comes to HOV.

Some more recent tracks that I like to chill to (Excuse me miss) and get the 'adrenaline flowing' to (Encore) are always in my cd player.

The real deal for me has always been tupac though.  How bout you?

Sorry for the delayed response….

Tupac never did it for me.  Eminem/D12 always keep it real with the rest of the Shady Records Fam (G-Unit/50/Obie Trice).  That's who really got it for me.

The Black Album is crazy!  I love it.

BTW - The song I was referring to is called "Blueprint 2" off the Blueprint 2 CD.  First song, 2nd CD…I believe.  It's on the second CD, I know that much raspberry
