The LSU Athletics Department is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Coach (Men?s and Women?s Track and Field). Required qualifications: Bachelor?s degree; coaching experience of jumping and combined events at the collegiate level; NCAA certification required for recruiting off campus; strong administrative skills including a working knowledge of computers and basic software programs; demonstrated strong commitment to complying with all NCAA, SEC and University rules and regulations. Special Requirements: Ability and willingness to travel and work extended hours, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assists the head coach with all phases of running a highly competitive combined men?s and women?s program which competes at the NCAA Division I level within the Southeastern Conference; designs and implements annual training program for the jumping and combined events; performs administrative duties as assigned by the head coach; recruits qualified Division I level student-athletes; assists the head track and field coach in all facets of the program including team travel, ordering of equipment, meet preparation and management, mailings, team functions, fund-raising, and other related assignments.
