Gatlin apparently was back in Knoxville for an NFL pro-day earlier in the week. He had a couple tryouts last year and it never worked out. I just thought it’s kinda ironic how he’s now returning to Knoxville to resurrect his sporting career when it could be argued that it never would have ended in the first place if he had just stayed in Knoxville and never left to work with Trevor Graham. Also interesting is that Gatlin is still trying to appeal his ban so he can tryout for the Olympic team and presumably defend his Olympic dash title. Do you think if he was allowed to run that he’d have a chance? It seems the short dash sprint torch has fully passed to Asafa and Tyson.
