Tim Montgomery. Once the holder of the most esteemed title in all of sports (World’s Fastest Man) has somehow managed to dig a hole deeper than previously thought imaginable. A teen phenom with prodigious talent, Monte has since:

    • been busted for performance enhancing drugs in what has become the start of the biggest doping scandal since Ben Johnson,
    • been caught in a multi-million dollar check fraud scandal,
    • and most recently, been arrested for selling heroin.

Now, to be fair, Monte hasn’t been tried yet and I fully believe in innocent until proven guilty but given his past associations with characters of ill-repute and his own shady actions, it might be more appropriate to think Monte is guilty until proven innocent.
