Unlike other sites that focus on news (including track results) or the latest technology, fashion trend, or political discussion; the content on this site is largely timeless. Now that we’ve got so much valuable info on the site between the forum, blog and articles, I’m always trying to think of ways to unbury the content from years past. With Vern posting today about a blog series he’s about to write, it gave me the idea to hop in my time machine and tag some of the blog series that we’ve had over the years. I think I found all the previous series but I’m not really certain. The following links will take you to 3 or more blog posts from the past that are related in their topic and intentionally written as part of an ongoing series.
- Todd’s 2005 World Championship Experience Series
- Vern’s Interview Series
- Carson’s ‘What I’ve Learned’ Series
- Mike’s 2005 NCAA Experience Series
- Transforming Smoot Carter Series
- Making Track More Popular Series
- Sprinting on Treadmills Series
- The Dark Side of Track Series
- 2008 Olympic Coverage Series
- HPC ELITETRACK Clinic Video Series
- Evaluating a Training Plan Series
As a general reminder, if you find a blog (or article that you like) in this list or anywhere else on the site; please take the millisecond to rate that blog or article. It helps the cream content rise to the top and makes the ‘highest rated’ functions of the site that much more valuable. [edit: I just added in Vern’s new series on evaluating training programs]
