Membership here is free and open to anyone wishing to make a contribution to training. Unlike some websites that are guru based and offer little open thinking, we welcome anyone provided they support their arguments with solid thinking. Since the traffic has increased enormously because of the blogging, we have received a lot of requests for me to not post the truth, as it’s likely to be hurting a few of the reputations of gurus. Fortunately we have Patrick Ward running a new podcast and my interview is up for anyone to listen to my philosophy of training. You will not get a template, secret exercise, or even brief workout plans but a perspective in training. What was suppose to be 30 minutes became a dense hour of reality. In the sport of track and field we must focus on results and how we create those results consistently. Be it private or public, the tape measure and clock are judges of what we do,and this is why I love the sport. In order to evolve we must be honest, and that is hard when greed guides us. This podcast has already received some great reviews and of course sparked some heat with those trying to protect their investments. I encourage everyone to listen to the podcasts in the future as some websites are just inbreeding the same dogma and fear the truth. With sports having a drug problem we need to instill the value of coaching and hard work, but when money is on the line effort and experience are tossed away for quick results. Small championships are won every day on this board as many here are youth coaches changing lives and instilling character. If you wish to learn more and feel that someone can make an impact to other coaches I encourage you to visit realitybasedfitness.com and get people involved.
