I didn’t have time to travel to Virginia Beach but I did have a chance to catch up with a lot of people that were there. The Podium Project for those not familiar with USATF’s meeting of the minds, the seminar is an educational summit that helps prepare coaches for high level competition. Often great people are involved such as Mike Young, but sometimes new blood will be invited. This year had some good takeaway information and I am working on a podcast after I skype a few more people. I plan to have this done before New Year’s but not before Christmas. What we did is ask the questions people wish were asked so some of the speakers and also expanded the lectures and break out sessions with some great research discussions. In summary, the podcast will be in two parts, one private and one public. The public one will be available free on elitetrack.com.
