I am very pleased that T-nation posted this great article on spinal flexion by Brad and Bret. I think coaches are aware that the spine has limits, but we need to get away from fear mongering with spinal movements and look at things from a balanced point of view. I applaud Anoop Balachandran for his candid review on the NSCA conference, since absolute statements are always dangerous. Core training doesn’t have much support to show performance or even injury reduction abilities, but I believe it’s helpful to have it in like all training. Most training ingredients require moderation, as too much or too little never seems very helpful. I strongly suggest reading both articles in this post.
