I wrote this short piece for Speed Endurance. Unlike most of my new blogs that are simply portals to other websites or articles, this one focuses on measuring components in the hurdles. I don’t know what sequence, technical matters, or even race model to create, but I think the need for proper language and terminology is important. The article is not a how to article with methods to get faster 110m times but a carefully outlined series of observations that should spark some interesting discussion and evolution of the event. If I have one regret is I didn’t ask the same questions to Wilbur Ross when he was alive. I am excited to see what people are going to do in the future with the advancements in technology.
