Here’s a partial days training from my Olympic development group (HPC Elite) that trains at my sport performance training center in Cary, NC. This video was shot on October 4, 2011. This was a low intensity day for us and we actually started the session outside at a park close to my training center. The weather was bad (unusually cold and rainy) but I didn’t want to head inside for an alternative because I believe strongly in the need to do occasional practices in adverse conditions to prepare for the times when an athlete encounters in during a competition. At the park, we microwaved the warmup so we could go straight to the tempo running without spending more time in the rain than we needed to. Once back at Athletic Lab (where the video picks up from), we did the elements of the warmup that we skipped over when we were outside. As usual, if you have any questions or comments on the session post to the forum.
