A year or two under 60 years and picked up olympic lifting only a few years ago, Franklin still brings it. I have seen Franklin put in about 1000 hours of training and he is a guy I love to watch train and compete. Something for you hang clean only crowd should look at is the knees coming back on the first pull. You don’t have to activate gluteus or do a lot of GHR work if you are pulling properly. I have downloaded a lot of videos of dirty cleans where the knee stays anti-flexed and anti-extended (read motionless) making the lifter use the back as a prime mover. Instead of doing countless bird dogs we need to stop shooting ourselves in the foot or this case the spine.
