About one third of my top picks include music players or accessories, and Skullcandy is a great brand. They provide both great small in-ear and old school headphones that are top of the line. I am not a fan of MP3 players during training except for extensive tempo, bike routines, and warm down activities. Communication between the coach and fellow athletes is a must, and I don’t allow any headphones in training anymore. Trying to be the good cop on rules only creates a mess longterm with athletes not being team players and living in their own world. Still the new earphones are perfect for training as they don’t fall off period. Also, I hate 99% of in-the-ear phones as they are not comfortable and this style creates no irritation. I also suggest Dick’s Sporting goods as they are cheaper than the website offer.
