With the pictures of Babe Ruth showing a very unimpressive body, my question to baseball teams is what are their beliefs? Baseball players are born and not made? With some players making excuses while doing interviews at specific burger joints downtown, I think the Red Sox will continue to have problem because of the culture of the sport as well as the culture of the locker room. Want to change baseball? Make their uniforms like football (save the pads), even if they are not going to have bodies like football players. Let’s see the bodyfat and the muscular development, as transparency does help reveal what is going on at the dinner plate, not just at home plate. Save the 60 yard dash, it seems like baseball needs a combine to see how the training is going. While the best athletes may not be the best baseball players, shouldn’t the best players become more athletic?
