During loaded screens such as overhead squats or just actual lifting, many will observe problems elsewhere stemming from foot structure and joint dysfunction of the ankle. With barefoot running and other trends becoming popular, we are not seeing as much health improvements as we think. At higher speeds things get messy with foot dysfunction, especially during sprinting, hurdling, and jumping. Instead of rambling about this I really liked the presentation by Dr. Pack at the Dartfish User Conference and wanted to share it here, as it really made me think that we are going to see some fantastic information at the BSMPG. Many of the presenters are talking about locomotion and forces coming up from the feet.
