Dave Hegland is too humble to take credit, but I would argue not too many combinations will reap results like this one. When Jarret ran 7.49 a few months ago it hinted to me that a warmer spring may create a little havoc at outdoor nationals this June. I have learned more from calling Dave this last month or so than the previous few years because his honest approach to finding out what the truth is. His willingness to share here on Elitetrack.com as well as just a visit up north makes me appreciate the sport of track and field just a little bit more. Perhaps when he is less busy a quick question and answer session will suffice.
