Vern’s post reminded me that about 6 years ago I posted a blog post about Bob Alejo and the basics being beautiful. This past weekend I learned that Jiro has made sushi for for longer than most people live, and is always pursuing perfection. I have found more passion in this film then most Hollywood formulas. I strongly suggest seeing the film as it shows the real dedication it takes to be a master. Forget the Malcolm Gladwell’s book at Barnes and Noble and see what a real 10 years is with Jiro’s apprenticeship.
