The price tag for a gait lab is not cheap, but Albert Pujos and Alex Rodriguez are quarter billion dollar bodies. For the price of two games, that $320,000 price tag could be paid for in loss production if Albert is injured.
-Carl Valle, FMS Interview
It was no random example using Albert Pujols for gait analysis as his contract is huge and the FMS can’t solve everything. Here in Boston a similar problem exists with Kelly Olynyk with his plantar pain and Canada is up in arms. Plantar pressure mapping is a key technique to look for injuries root problems and I suggest reading Dr. Williams post on the BSMPG regarding this topic.
