I can't believe that the summer training is over and the race season is about to begin for my sophmore season. I did average over 40 miles/ week of solid training, including hills and tempo and limited track work outs. I had a good race experience with a 1st place finish at a scrimage, running against a respectable team. Next weekend is my first invitational of the season. I feel as if I studied as much as I can at this early point in the season, and it's time to take the test. I want to have a pre-race warm up routine that I do before every season to get myself mentally and physically ready. What has worked for you?
