Our fb team (who is 1-26 in past 3 years) did that test. Is it valid for footballers? Would there be a better (more specific) test?
its one of the most popular test and have been for many years, almost every div 1 team perform the 110's test, lsu they start there summer workouts with 26×110's, the new england patriots also perform the 110 test. it may not be the best test to do, but if u really think bout it there is not really a so call good test besides playing the game, it gaves the coaches a gauge and a way to push there athletes. tommy moffit said that his guys want to keep running those 26×110's every summer bc they fill like it gives them an edge at least 2 wins games per year. for you the 110 test may be easy since u r use to doing tempos but to some fb guys its not easy.
